A. The wrath to come

1. God has appointed a day

2. The judgment will be public and general

3. God alone will judge

B. what will take place on judgment day

1. A sentence will be proclaimed against the wicked

a. Eternal punishment

b. Torment , misery and woe

c. Wicked are deprived of anything good

d. Weeping, wailing and gnashing of teeth

2. This punishment will take place in hell

C. Christians are delivered

1. Salvation planned

2. salvation promised

3. Salvation accomplished

4. Salvation applied

5. Salvation completed
